We are a drama group which reads, rehearses and presents plays in Beeston, Nottingham, UK. Have a look around the site to find details of our present and past productions, who we are, where we meet, and if you like what you see, come along to one of the shows or even join us!
The Beeston Players were formed in 1968 and have performed in Beeston and Chilwell area throughout this time. Rehearsals and weekly meetings are on Mondays 7:30pm to 9:30pm at the Haven Centre . We have about 30 regular members with an age range from 17 to 60 something! As productions demand, extra actors and backstage staff are pulled from friends and family.
We perform 2 plays a year held at Round Hill School at Foster Avenue in Beeston covering all theatrical genres from farce to classic period drama. Productions are on four consecutive days (3 nights and 1 matinee) in May and November. Join our mailing list for details of upcoming productions.
When we’re not performing or rehearsing we read plays at our weekly meetings and arrange a number of social events, ranging from trips to the theatre (both professional and other local groups) to a Summer BBQ.
