Alistair Hudson
My name is Alistair Hudson, I’m 57 and live in Wollaton Park with my wife, Janet. We have two sons, George, 24 and Arthur, 21.
I joined the Beeston Players in January this year and was lucky to be offered the part of “Dad” in the play “Caught in the Net”. I last acted in two pantomimes in 2000 and 2001 at our sons’ primary school. Naturally I was given the part of the dame each time! Before that I was a member of the Menston Thespians http://menstonthespians.webs.com/ in West Yorkshire way back in the years 1977 to 1981. At school in 1975 I played Private Bamforth in “The Long and the Short and the Tall” which was my acting debut.
As I was a bus driver from 2004 to 2016, often working in the evenings, I was unable to commit to rehearsals and so now that I have my evenings free once more I am delighted to take up acting again.
