Excellent production with an unexpected ending

Beeston players continue to produce some excellent amateur productions for local audiences. This recent one ‘Prescription for Murder’ must have been one of the most difficult for cast members to remember with huge swathes of dialogue for a number of the leading characters. Well done to all those involved in front and behind the scenes.

A great evening out

I went to the play with my husband and my 12 year old stepdaughter. We all really enjoyed it and had a great evening out. The play itself was good and the actors were brill. Free interval tea and biscuits are a great touch! I can’t understand why my stepdaughter was the only child in the room – she thought the play was great. Perhaps you could do more to promote your plays to a wider audience?

It was the first time we had been to a performance by the Beeston Players and we very much enjoyed the evening. The central character was very good. The supporting cast played their parts well, even though it was a challenging play to perform live. We were pleasantly surprised to be served complementary refreshments and a program. Good value for money, we are looking forward to the next performance.
