Autumn Newsletter

With the summer coming to an end, and Autumn fast approaching, it’s time for the 3rd Edition of our Newsletter.

In Brief:

The year began uncertainly, as our initial plans of performing ‘Murder in the Vicarage’ were dealt a blow when the Agatha Christie Society decided we could not perform it. However, we went on instead to peform ‘The Hollow’ for our spring production which went down very well. Our November production of ‘Ladies Day’ is on track – the roles have been cast and rehearsals have begun (tickets will be available online closer to the date).

In other news, our new committee was elected at our AGM in July, headed up by our new Chairman Ian Greatorex. We’ve also had the privilage of welcoming various new people to the group, but also say fond farewells to some long standing members.

The summer brought various social events, along with our new website. We’d like to say a very big thank you to Peter and David Aldred for their work maintaining the previous site, and their help in getting us across to the new.
